Getting The Reps In

Making good wildlife content – blogs, social media posts, photography (both taking pictures and editing them), or videos – takes a lot of practice. If you don’t practice your craft then you will lose those skills.

A few years back, I prolifically made wildlife content in all of the formats listed above. Then, one day, I stopped. That stoppage lasted for a few years. Then, one day just recently, I started again.

Starting again has been a gut punch via the gonads. My entire content creation tool box atrophied in the most sucktacular ways.

Writing: purely basic-bitch with very little cleverness. I always felt that I was a really good writer. Now…no.

Photography: I won’t dare to use manual settings on my camera because I don’t remember how. My Lightroom’ing is super meh.

Social Media: I don’t even remember how to successfully post on Instagram or YouTube. My posts are very stripped down and get almost no views.

Yet, here I am dusting off the content creation tool box a little bit at a time. I’m sorry that you have to suffer through me trying to rediscover my craft. Or, no one is reading this and it’s just me practicing. I’ll take it.

Anyhow, here is a crow that I snapped out of my car window. Get those reps in via any method that you can!

After this picture was taken that crow took my soul to the Abyss.
