I’m not a real social media influencer in the wildlife game.
I adore my followers, but they are modest in number. The engagement/views on my posts is mostly meh. Of course, I have barely posted anything in years. So, there is that. But not an influencer at all.
And with all of that meh, I do have one bonafide viral bit of content. It’s this video on YouTube of a chimpanzee walking in bipedal fashion:
I posted that video on July 17, 2017. Since then, it has always trended to some degree. Only now, 7 years later, is it finally starting to slow down.
As of this post, it sits at 15,992,086 views. Does this bipedal chimp have enough viral juice left in him to eke out 16 million views? For some reason, I really hope so. I gain nothing if this happens, but I do want to hit that milestone.
