This picture made the viral rounds lately on the Interwebs. In the picture you have a death knot involving a king cobra and a reticulated python. Yes, both are dead – the python presumably by poison and the cobra by strangulation.

What happened here?
King cobras eat other snakes. Did the king of cobras attack the python? That is an awfully big python, but it is possible that the cobra did take a swing at it.
Did humans set up this snake fight club? Maybe people put the snakes in that trench with the intention that they fight. It would be kind of shitty to squander the lives of two impressive snakes for the sake of wanting them to fight each other. Sadly, people can be shitty like that.
Ultimately, no one knows. Whatever the genesis of the fight, it makes for one hell of a photo!
